Boesmanland Manufacturers has perfected the uniquely South African tradition of manufacturing biltong. Our unique blend of spices and by only sourcing and using A Grade ingredients sets our final product apart from other manufacturers. Our Factory is fully insolated ultra modern and FSA, R918 and Halaal Certified. We achieved an A rating for our 2012 Audit.
Our manufacturing plant, factory - is situated in Kraaifontein, Cape Town with its own Distribution Centre. An additional Distribution Centre was opened in Pretoria during 2009.
We specialize in the manufacturing of a comprehensive range of beef, game, ostrich and chicken biltong. All raw materials are acquired from GMP Certified suppliers, in other words have complied too our high pre-requisite criteria and pre listing specifications. Our products are then packed and retailed, either in bulk, cater packs or gas infused packaged units.
All packaged products are manufactured, prepared and packed in-house using state of the art form, fill and seal machines. This process is fully automated and includes infusing the packets with Aligal 13 food gas. Due to this method of production we underwrite our product standard and shelve life.
We are one of few National Biltong suppliers, as we distribute nation-wide within South Africa. Distribution centres and deliveries are all managed in-house as we have our own fleet of delivery vehicles. We deliver frozen, chilled and ambient pre-packed product.
