It is indeed a pleasure to welcome you to our school on behalf of the Governing Body and the Staff. Bosmansdam Primary is a place where children will always be welcomed and will always feel welcome.
Bosmansdam Primary School was the first primary school to be built in Bothasig in 1966. Your child will therefore be joining a school rich in history and tradition. Our school motto is “ALTIORA PETE”, which means “AIM FOR HIGHER THINGS”. Our aim is to cultivate a happy parent body, staff and learners with the emphasis on quality and self development.
The teachers are committed and dedicated, ensuring that education of a high standard is maintained.
The school has been declared a parallel medium institution.
Both English and Afrikaans speaking learners therefore receive tuition in their mother tongue. The school endeavours to maintain an equitable balance between the two languages wherever possible.
The effectiveness and success of our school as an educational institution is determined by the actual and positive involvement, personal input and abilities of our staff members, learners and parent community. Let us together strive to make our school our pride.
