Description
Bothasig is an area in Cape Town that has predominantly non-Muslim residents, an area that is foreign to Islam. In 1998 there were just four known Muslim families that tried to start a forum to keep all Muslim families in contact with one another and to help spread the word of Islam. Over time more and more Muslim families started moving to Bothasig and its surrounding areas of Edgemead, Monte Vista, Richwood and Summer Greens.
Alhamdulilah there are now about 50 families (from all five areas) that form part of the Bothasig Muslim community.
