THE FISHERMAN’S STORY
Nestled in the heart of this small seaside village, Fisherman’s Kommetjie boasts a cosy interior and spacious alfresco dining, which invites summer and seafood celebration. Getting there is one of the best parts…… can only be described as one of the most scenic drives in SA.
Spacious tables are, bedecked with with umbrellas or under the shade of ancient Milkwood Trees which makes an ideal setting for enjoying the best of summer. Enjoy ice cold beer on tap, craft beers, Saturday afternoon Sax Sessions and, Sunday legendary Mozambique braais.
The interior, painted to depict the ambience of an old fisherman’s cottage, is warmed in winter by a roasting fire, complete with the lingering aromas of wood fired pizzas, burgers, steaks and scrumptious seafood.

CURRENT OWNERS
The current owners have managed Fisherman’s since 2004. They decided that Fisherman’s would be about Kommetjie and the families living there. They wanted to ensure that there was something for everyone in the community as well as all Capetonians and tourists. This passion is conveyed by the following 3 distinctive areas within the restaurant.
