Caring for Cape Town’s eyes for over a century South Africa’s first and oldest optometrists, J Muller and Sons, at 104 Longmarket Street, celebrated its 125st birthday in 2015. The business is, after 125 years, still in the hands of the Peter Muller great grandson of founder and one-time jeweller, German-born Joseph Muller.
