Description
Born circa 1988, before the opening of the V&A Waterfront, Panama Jacks has evolved from a boatyard servicing the Royal Cape Yacht Club to a quality Seafood Restaurant known all over the world. Originally situated in Table Bay Harbour, in the working half of the Cape Town docks, Panama Jacks is unique in its setting with all the hustle and bustle of a commercial port going about its daily business.
Fresh seawater tanks hold live Lobster and Abalone for your choice of main; only pay for what it weighs. The low-flag-bedecked-ceiling encapsulates the relaxed, Caribbean atmosphere where we believe that emphasis should be on tip-top food quality. Our menus cater for guests from near and far: Mozambican Langoustines, Chinese Prawns, Chilean Calamari, Namibian Oysters and Mussels from our local Saldanha Bay.
A recent introduction to our restaurant, the sushi bar, is manned by one of the most fantastic sushi chefs Cape Town has seen. Additionally, our award-winning wine list offers an extensive range of South Africas finest wines. Not sure what’s good? Ask us and we’ll pair a wine suggestion to your dish of choice.
