Make unique and unforgettable memories by chartering The Alba Restaurant Boat on your special day. Measuring 22m in length with a six-metre beam, The Alba will have a capacity of 72 seated guests or 100 for cocktail functions.
The Boat
With an enclosed deck of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, The Alba lets in those famous views of Table Mountain and the twinkling harbour, while it cruises around the marina. The Alba is fully compliant with the safety regulations of the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA). The captain and crew are seasoned veterans, fully qualified to handle a vessel of its size.
Dining
Upmarket food and drinks are all inclusive of the experience. Menus featuring seasonal, locally sourced quality ingredients are available for your perusal but we are also happy to tailor-make a menu for you.
The lunch and dinner menus have classic dishes but also look after those who wish to feature South African venison. Baked camembert with figs and spiced walnuts, Karoo springbok Carpaccio and citrus-cured salmon are on offer for starters. Mains are a choice between beef fillet with roasted bone marrow jus and truffled mash, seabass with coriander and chilli or braised springbok shank with mash and caramelised onion. End on sweets like dark chocolate mousse with orange zest or truffles rolled in pistachio with a touch of chilli.
Our meals are Halaal friendly and vegetarian and vegan options are available on request. The Durbanville Hills Rhinofields range is available as a wine pairing with each course or guests can order beers or soft drinks.
Included
All packages include a glass of bubbly on arrival and coffee or tea. The Alba also offers Wi-Fi for social media posts.
