The Brasserie food style is European with a comfort food influence. Expect some French classics such as fillet au poivre, Caesar salad and all-time favourite, crème brulee. Some Italian specials such as hand cut carpaccio, homemade spaghetti carbonara & salt n’ pepper squid.
Bella Laity leads the kitchen team with great enthusiasm and finesse. Bella fell in love with food at an early age and has worked her way up through various Cape Town kitchens. She continues with the Brasseries’ ethos of using seasonal produce and supporting local producers wherever possible.
Shareholder, Michael Forbes, manages the front of house. Michael has taken control of The Brasserie since inception in 2011 and offers a wealth of experience, which he acquired both locally and abroad. His passion for guest satisfaction is admirable; he will do his upmost to ensure that your experience at The Brasserie is memorable.
Relax & enjoy a small plate and local craft beers in our garden patio or stylish Parisian diners bar. The Brasserie offers private dining in our upstairs dining room, a perfect location for a small intimate celebration. Alternatively enjoy the bustling atmosphere in the main dining room.
