The Slug & Lettuce is an upscale Pub & social café in the flavour of an aesthetic and somewhat traditional London pub.
The ‘Slug’s are most definitely not of the typically trendy and transient type of establishments but are rather indeed real and traditional locals which proudly serve the neighborhoods and communities which surround their locations.
On any given day or night it’s entirely usual to find chatty varsity students, enthusiastic sports fans and groups of suitably suited professionals sharing a drink or nibble with their parents or even grandparents.
We’re also the local of popular choice for very many of South Africa’s leading sports men & women and have also been delighted and privileged to have had the pleasure of welcoming many of the visiting international touring teams to our establishments.
We are ordinarily open daily from 11am and offer a wide range of coffee’s and steamed drinks.
Our kitchens open at noon till about 10pm (Sundays 9pm) and offer a wide range of pub lunches/ dinners including tapas, freshly baked baguettes, burgers, wraps, pizzas as well as truly authentic “pub grub”.
We have local and international beers on tap and our management takes great pride in the constant monitoring and maintaining the draught beer dispensing process to guarantee the perfect beer, in terms of flavor, temperature and presentation.
